the crew descended on the GTW on Saturday, the last day of February.

As they made progress drilling rivet holes in the panels and chassis, I proceeded to "destroy" the transaxle. My purpose was to disassemble the unit so I can drill and tap for the installation of the lube cooler system.
The next pix show how far I got before German engineering befuddled me. (OK, I was befuddled BEFORE starting, but this stopped me!)
Don't know how to continue disassembly from here?!? Gonna talk to Eric at Carquip tomorrow for some hints.
And here's the result of the productive members of the Saturday Assemblage.
They sorted out all the "shiny bits"(aluminum panels) by area of installation, but we all got two-blocked when we found panels with bends at the right places but not at the right bend angles. Gotta talk to FFR tomorrow - are we supposed to bend the "creases" to the final angle, or are we missing something??
Anyway, I REALLY appreciated the help from "the fam" - hope I can look forward to a LOT MORE of it!!
